2. Max Healthcare Institute
Alright, next on the list, you see, Max Healthcare is growing very fast! They have 17 hospitals with over 4 thousand beds mostly in Delhi, Mumbai, and other large cities. The company has been growing their revenue with a growth rate of 21.8% for 5 years now, which is just impressive if you think about it for a sec. In 2024, they made 54 billion rupees, which was 18% higher than the previous year. And they’re not stopping! Max plans to spend ₹55 billion to more than double their bed count to 6,600 by 2027, which will be even better for India’s healthcare scene.
3. Fortis Healthcare
Sure enough, Fortis Healthcare is already huge with operational 4600 beds, though, keep in mind that they want to get even bigger. Like, within the next five to seven years, they plan to increase their bed count to 10,000. Without a single doubt, these people are specialists in cancer, heart, joints, and kidney disease. Almost 80 of their revenues come from their hospitals. They will put more than 2000 more beds in the coming years which is cool and awesome, no doubt. Although they faced some issues, Fortis was still able to grow its revenue by 9.4% to ₹16.8 billion in 2024.
4. Narayana Hrudayalaya
Next on the list, you see, Narayana Healthcare has 45 hospitals in India, with more than 6000 beds, and it even has one hospital in the US! They have been getting 11.8 percent higher revenue every year for the last 5 years. In 2024, their revenue reached ₹50 billion, representing a 10.9% increase, while their profits grew by 24.5%, which is just impressive if you think about it for a sec. Like, Narayana is now building multi-specialty hospitals to go beyond hearts and kidneys.
5. Aster DM Healthcare
Aster DM Healthcare is a popular Healthcare Brand in India and the Middle East, and yes, this one, you see, owns 32 hospitals, 127 clinics, and a whopping 521 pharmacies! They sure are not slowing down, like, they are putting in ₹10 billion to add another 1,700 hospital beds by 2027. One of their biggest hospitals, Aster CMI in Bengaluru is getting a massive upgrade, like, the number of beds will go up from 500 to 850 with an investment of ₹2 billion.
6. Manipal Hospitals
Sure enough, Manipal Hospitals is among the top healthcare service providers in India. Like, as of 2025, they operate 29 healthcare centers with 8300 beds. Their growth was massive after buying Columbia Asia and Vikram Hospitals, and using those to grow in the major cities. For those who don’t know yet, well, Manipal is known for heart treatment, cancer, joint surgery, and organ transplants. They are always adding more beds and improving their tech to be ahead.
7. Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS)
In the Southern part of the country, surely, KIMS is a big name. They have 3,503 beds at their different locations in states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra. They fix heart issues, brain issues, joint issues, and maternal issues. KIMS is going to expand super fast. They’ll be investing ₹49.6 billion between 2025 and 2027 to add 2,400 beds. In the last 5 years, their revenue has more than doubled and they are still earning high profits.
8. Yatharth Hospitals
Yatharth Hospitals is climbing the ladder of success in North India, but how? Well, for now, this organization is acquiring more and is planning to double its current bed count from 1,400 to 2,800 over the next three years. By them though, in 2024, Asian Fidelis Hospital in Faridabad was acquired, which is now called Yatharth Hospitals Faridabad. They’re also working on the expansion of their Noida and Greater Noida hospitals, adding 450 more beds with an investment of ₹273 million.
9. Wockhardt Hospitals
Wockhardt Hospitals has become famous for its solutions to heart, brain, and robotic troubles right here in India. Sure enough, Wockhardt has hospitals in Bombay, Nagpur, and Gujrat, and they are getting ready to branch out more in the West. Wockhardt is spending a lot on the latest medical tech like robotic surgery and AI diagnostics as of 2025.
10. Hinduja Healthcare Limited
Alright, last on the list, you see, Hinduja Healthcare is taking a pretty different approach from other hospitals. Unlike them, they are not rushing for expansion.
